Community CPR Training and Certification Class for 2018
Beginning in January 2018 the EMS Department will provide a monthly public CPR class at the Mapleton Public Safety Building for residents and friends of Mapleton.
You must sign up in advance by calling the city offices to get on the class list for that month – class size is limited. The class is free, but if you want a certification from the American Heart Association there is a cost payable at the beginning of the class.
Each class will last approximately three hours and will be held the fourth Saturday of each month at 9:00am. Only one class is needed to certify or re-certify.

The Mapleton EMS Department is dedicated to serving our community by providing efficient and effective emergency medical care and transport with compassion and dignity. We do this using highly trained, competent, and professional employees that take pride being part of our community.
The Mapleton EMS Department is responsible for providing emergency medical care and transport to the citizens and visitors of our community. Our department also provides mutual aid to the surrounding area including Springville, Spanish Fork, and highway 6, as well as community education in CPR/AED and First Aid training. The EMS Department operates at an Advanced EMT level, certified by the Utah Department of Health. The Department is staffed with EMT’s and/or Paramedics 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The Mapleton Ambulance service has 30 staff members serving Mapleton as well as providing backup for Springville and Spanish Fork.
