The mission of Mapleton City Fire Department is to provide services to the community by protecting the quality of life for present and future generations. We are proud to serve this community as a team with professionalism strength, trust and excellence.

DEPARTMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Mapleton Fire Department provides fire protection, technical rescue, primary response to biological, chemical and radioactive hazards, to the citizens of Mapleton and assist surrounding agencies as needed.

Volunteer Fire Fighters Needed

The Mapleton Fire Department is taking applications for volunteer fire fighters. Contact the Mapleton City Offices for an application at 801-489-5655 ext. 0 or at 125 West 400 North.

For emergencies, dial 911 or  Dispatch (801) 489-9421. For other calls, dial (801) 491-8048. We are located at 305 North Main Street.

In the summer of 1995, there was a devastating fire that engulfed Maple Mountain. Our Volunteer Fire Department spent that night and the next few weeks fighting this terrible fire.

Mapleton Volunteer Fire Department has seven fire trucks.

The Mapleton Volunteer Fire Department is proud to say that they are composed of 100% volunteers.
