This year the Utah State Laws have changed in regards to the days allowed to discharge Fireworks. They are as follows, between the hours of 11am and 11pm, except as noted:
- July 2 – July 5 (July 4th hours extended to Midnight)
- July 22 – July 25 (July 24th hours extended to Midnight)
- December 31 (11am – 1am on January 1, 2019)

The Mapleton Fire Department provides fire protection, technical rescue, primary response to biological, chemical and radioactive hazards, to the citizens of Mapleton and assist surrounding agencies as needed.

Volunteer Fire Fighters Needed
The Mapleton Fire Department is taking applications for volunteer fire fighters. Contact the Mapleton City Offices for an application at 801-489-5655 ext. 0 or at 125 West 400 North.

In the summer of 1995, there was a devastating fire that engulfed Maple Mountain. Our Volunteer Fire Department spent that night and the next few weeks fighting this terrible fire.
Mapleton Volunteer Fire Department has seven fire trucks.
